What is a Big Bang?
A big bang is a writer/artist collaboration challenge for any fandom.
Artists will be paired based on the writer’s prompts during claiming to create one brand new fanwork for fandom.
A Big Bang is a minimum requirement of 10k words for authors, and a minimum of 3 illustrations to accompany it by the Artist.
This is meant to be a Challenge! Please plan and manage your time accordingly.
How this will work?
There will be one Writer/Artist sign up page posted on the DnB community. Please leave a comment with the following information. Comments will be screened.

Writers will start working on their projects first.
By the first check-in, writers should have an outline or a summary of your story. Your potential partner will be going on this summary alone when making their art claims.

What is an Art Claim?
Art claims are the process in which the summaries emailed to the admins will be posted for participating Artists to look and choose from. Each summary will be assigned a unique number and artists will use this to specify which works they would like when making their claims.
Claims are done on a first come, first serve basis.
Keeping to our promise of being transparent, we are unable to leave claims as screened comments. We understand this is a stressor for some, but in order to remain fair and unbiased, this is a necessity.
Please wait for admin confirmation during the claiming event. If your 1st choice is not available, you will be assigned your 2nd or 3rd choice. If all 3 of your picks have been claimed, we will ask that you pick another summary. The earlier you claim, the better chance you have of getting your 1st choice.
How do I claim?
When the summary post becomes open for commenting, the artist will leave a comment with the following information:

I don’t like my writer/artist style. Can I request a different one?
No.
Each one of our artists and writers are working very hard on their projects! You cannot change partners based on skill level. This is a celebration, and not a competition. If you truly need to change partners, please email the admin, and we will try to come to a solution that works for everyone.
I can't get in contact with my Partner. What do I do?
During the duration of DnB, you will be responsible for contacting your partner.
In the event that you have tried unsuccessfully to contact your partner, LET US KNOW, and we will determine a drop after a final attempt at contact.
They will be given 1 day to reply back to us and to their partner.
We cannot stress this enough. If you do not contact us with any problem you are having, we do not know there is one and cannot help you in a timely manner.
Can I write a Gen story for Daiya no Bang?
If it is Daiya, it will be allowed. All pairings will be allowed.
What is a pinch hitter?
Pinch hitters are the brave souls who sign up to take on more than one entry. Sometimes there may not be enough submissions to go around. Other times, your partner or yourself may need to drop out completely. Our pinch hitters will be there to fill your spot. Due to the nature of this Bang, we do ask that pinch hitters be open minded when being asked to fill in.
