Tips on Prepping for a Big Bang

Remember, sign ups  for artists and writers will start in October, that is only two months away! What can you do to prep for this year?

For the Writer

• Plot your outline!

This is the perfect time to start picking out what exactly you’d like to write about. Are you a SASO participant and would like to expand on one of the many prompts? Have an AU that you’ve been planning? How about an addition to a story you already have?
All of these are great starting points! Having a plot planned in advance not only helps the writer, but your potential artist as well.

• Inspiration/aesthetic

We know that writing a 10k is indeed a big challenge, so making inspiration and aesthetic boards can help you out in creating that Big Bang.

• Ask questions

Is this your first time participating in a Big Bang, or just want to clarify how things are run? Let us know. We are happy to answer all questions. Remember, we have moved to the Dreamwidth community, and comments are enabled for all posts. Please be sure to watch/join the community!

For the artist!

Your part doesn’t come until December, but you are more than welcome to ask questions about the Big Bang or our claiming process. This year, our claiming process is going to be a locked entry. Comments however, will not be screened. You will need to be a member of our community in order to comment, so please remember to join!
